About the Library

The Berkeley High Library is open from 7:30 A.M. to 4:30 P.M. There are currently 13 computers in the library for student use, attached to a laser printer. Students are welcome to use the library on their own before and after school and during lunch. Teachers can send up to four students at a time on a pass to work in the library during class periods.

Students can check out up to six books at a time with a valid student ID card. The books may be kept for up to three weeks, and can be renewed. Students are responsible for any item they check out and are discouraged from checking out books for a friend.

Your three Teacher Librarians are Mrs. Goldstein-Erickson, Ms. Provence and Ms. Rosenkrantz. They are thrilled to assist you in your research, finding the perfect book to read and using the computers.
Ms. Chen is in charge of textbooks and can usually be found either in the textbook room on the first floor of the D Building or the library.
